Anika Therapeutics to Present at Canaccord Adams Musculoskeletal Conference.

Presentation to be Webcast live on February 24

BEDFORD, Mass. -- Anika Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:ANIK) today announced that Charles Sherwood, president and chief executive officer, will be presenting at the Canaccord Adams Musculoskeletal Conference on Tuesday, February 24, 2009. The conference is being held at the University of Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada. An audio webcast of the presentation will be available live at the "Investors" section of Anika's website at www.anikatherapeutics.com. The time of the presentation webcast will be announced at a later date.

Within the presentation Dr. Sherwood will discuss the current state of the business, including the Company's joint health product franchise and related U.S. clinical trial for MONOVISC[TM], a single-injection treatment for Osteoarthritis. Last month, Anika announced that it has completed enrollment in the trial.
