Anika Therapeutics Names Potter as Chief Financial Officer.

WOBURN, Mass.--(BW HealthWire)--April 4, 2000

Anika Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq:ANIK ANIK Canadian COMSAT ) today announced Douglas R. Potter has joined the company as chief financial officer.

Potter, 49, comes to Anika with more than 25 years experience in finance and accounting. Most recently, he was vice president and chief financial officer of Dynamics Research Corporation Dynamics Research Corporation (NASDAQ: DRCO) is a United States-based publicly held defense contractor.

DRC was founded in 1955 by a small group of engineers from the Charles Stark Draper Laboratory of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
 (Nasdaq:DRCO), a company with annual revenues of nearly $190 million that provides information technology services and manufactures precision measurement and control products. Before joining Dynamics Research in 1993, Potter was vice president, treasurer and chief financial officer of SofTech, Inc., a public company engaged in software development and information technology services. He was also employed for 10 years with the accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers.

 and is a member of the Financial Executives Institute and the Treasurers Club of Boston. He holds a master's degree in business administration from Boston University and a bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
