Anheuser-Busch awarded for vision.


Anheuser-Busch Companies Inc., St. Louis, has been awarded for its "long commitment to environmental causes and its innovations in conservation, recycling and animal rescue and rehabilitation rehabilitation: see physical therapy. ." The company was selected by Keep America Beautiful Keep America Beautiful is an environmental organization founded in 1953. It is the largest community improvement organization in the United States, with over 560 affiliate organizations (similar to local chapters) and more than 15,000 participating communities in their signature  Inc. to receive the 2003 Vision for America Award.

Anheuser-Busch Chairman August A. Busch III accepted the award at an event at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago in late October.

Anheuser-Busch is the 18th recipient of the Vision for America Award. Since 1986, Keep America Beautiful has presented the award annually to corporations that have significantly enhanced civic, environmental and social stewardship throughout the U.S.
