:BUD), Inc. and the controlling shareholders of Grupo Modelo Grupo Modelo is a large brewery in Mexico. It maintains a large part of the Mexican beer export market and produces top-selling imported beer in the United Kingdom, United States and Canada.  S.A. de C.V. jointly announced the closing of the purchase by Anheuser-Busch of an additional 13.25 percent ownership in Grupo Modelo's operating subsidiary An operating subsidiary is a business term frequently used within the United States railroad industry. In the case of a railroad, it refers to a company that is a subsidiary but operates with its own identity and rolling stock. , Diblo S.A. de C.V.
