Anheuser-Busch Salutes Governor For Signing Fresh Beer Bill In Maryland.


ST. LOUIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 27, 1999--

In a move that will undoubtedly warm the hearts of Montgomery County Montgomery County may refer to:

 beer drinkers, Maryland Governor Parris Glendening Parris Nelson Glendening (born June 11, 1942), a member of the United States Democratic Party, was the 59th Governor of Maryland in the United States from 1995 to 2003. He was also County Executive of Prince George's County, Maryland from 1982-1994.  Thursday signed into law a fresh beer bill.

This new law allows Maryland beer distributors to replace beer thats no longer fresh at the 220 retailers in Montgomery county who buy beer from the county Department of Liquor Control.

"Now, they can rest assured the next time they want to pick up a six pack or order cold draft beer in Montgomery county, they know theyll get fresh, quality beer."

Wolfe explained that Montgomery county is the only municipality MUNICIPALITY. The body of officers, taken collectively, belonging to a city, who are appointed to manage its affairs and defend its interests.  in the U.S. in which brewers are required to distribute their products through a county-owned and operated distributorship.
