Anheuser-Busch Credit Union and ECCO Select UltiPro(R) Workplace for Human Capital Management.

WESTON, Fla. -- Ultimate Software (Nasdaq:ULTI), a leading provider of end-to-end strategic human resources, payroll, and talent management solutions, announced today that two top companies, Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union (ABECU) and ECCO, have selected Ultimate Software's UltiPro Workplace to manage their human resource and payroll processes.

St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch Employees' Credit Union is a full-service financial institution offering a wide variety of products and services nationwide. Currently ranked as a "Top 150" credit union in the U.S., the organization has been using a payroll service provider to process payroll and a different vendor to handle human resources and time keeping. The separate systems lack the functional capabilities the credit union had expected and, because they are not integrated, create extra manual work, data integrity issues, and reporting problems.

ABECU selected UltiPro Workplace with UltiPro Recruitment in July 2008 to gain the functionality needed for HR to operate more strategically and effectively. UltiPro Workplace provides a comprehensive set of tools for human capital management, including HR, payroll, benefits administration, and employee communication, all accessed through a Web portal. The recruitment feature automates the entire recruiting process, including posting job openings, submitting and reviewing job applications, and communicating with candidates, greatly reducing time-to-hire and cost-per-hire.

"The interface we use to integrate our current solutions is inefficient. There are always problems," said Adrianne Thompson, vice president of human resources for ABECU. "With employees in 26 locations throughout the country, we need the integrated HR/payroll functionality that UltiPro delivers to centralize and streamline our processes, empower our employees with self-service access to their information, and maximize the contributions our team can make to the business using consolidated workforce reporting."

Also migrating from a payroll service bureau, ECCO is a global leader in city, casual, and sport shoes for men, women, and children. The footwear company has nearly 15,000 employees globally, with hundreds in the U.S. Based in Londonderry, New Hampshire, ECCO USA selected UltiPro Workplace, with UltiPro Performance Management and UltiPro Time Management, in August 2008 for the solution's strong functionality and because of Ultimate Software's well-respected culture and name in the industry.

"We appreciated the honesty, enthusiasm, and integrity of the people we met from Ultimate Software," said Dawn Erickson, director of human resources for ECCO. "Certainly the many accolades and awards bestowed on Ultimate Software as a great place to work and Ultimate's reputation as a leading provider of human capital management solutions were confirmation that the company would be a partner that shared our philosophy. ECCO is committed to integrity, care of the environment, quality, innovation, and development of our employees. These values seemed to coincide with Ultimate's approach - an important concern when entering a partnership."

"We are pleased to have these industry leaders join our growing list of UltiPro Workplace customers," said Chris Phenicie, vice president, UltiPro Workplace. "We look forward to working in partnership with them to help improve their business processes."
