Originally the contract was scheduled to expire on February 28. Last week it was extended through March 8 as talks aimed at reaching a new contract continued.

"We want to continue to build on the progress we've made in these talks so far," said William L. Rammes, Vice President-Human Resources for Anheuser-Busch. "Our goal is to continue to bargain in good faith to reach an agreement that is in the best interest of the company and its employees."
