History of the Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX) ("CDNX"). This application is consistent with a recent agreement negotiated between CDNX and the Montreal Exchange whereby, subject to regulatory approval, the Montreal Exchange will cease operations as an equity exchange and the resulting invitation to Montreal Exchange listed companies to have their shares listed on CDNX instead. In a geological report dated December 12, 2000 by Craig H.B. Leitch, Ph.D, P.Eng., the author reconfirmed an earlier statement: "This assemblage is similar to the Highland/Southwestern Complex rocks of Sri Lanka, that have produced some of the world's largest alluvial gemstone deposits" (L. Indian and Northern Affairs Canada The Department of Indian Affairs and Northern Development (FIP: Indian and Northern Affairs Canada, French: Affaires indiennes et du Nord Canada, DIAND : Yukon Region, File 1196-2G). The Year 2000/2001 work programs produced three independent geological reports of the hard rock and alluvial gem potential in the Slocan Valley area of British Columbia where the Blu Starr Property is located. 1. Geology, Geophysics and Economic Potential of the Slocan Gemstone Property, BC. (James Laird, Laird Exploration Ltd. and K. Warren Geiger, PH. D.,P. Eng.) 2. Geological Examination of Slocan Valley Properties of Hampton Court Resources, Slocan District, B.C. (Craig H.B. Leitch Ph.D., P.Eng.) 3. Preliminary Mineralogical Evaluation of the Slocan River Alluvials Passmore Area, B.C. (James M. Prudden P.G.) These reports have been submitted by Anglo Swiss to the CDNX as part of the process to obtain listing approval. The conclusions and recommendations contained therein will be utilized for the next phase of development of the Blu Starr Property. The Blu Starr Property is currently under development with Hampton Court Resources Inc. ("Hampton Court"), pursuant to a Joint Participation Agreement executed by the parties in 2000. Please refer to the Anglo Swiss News Release dated May 3, 2000 for more details of the terms and conditions of this agreement. There are both hard rock and placer discoveries on the Blu Starr Property: 1. Hard Rock. The 2000/2001 season resulted in several new discoveries of potential economic importance including 13 new sapphire occurrences, 10 new iolite/anthophyllite occurrences, a potentially large and economic gem garnet occurrence, a new flake graphite occurrence and occurrences of amethyst quartz, rose quartz and titanite. A budget has been set by Hampton Court and Anglo Swiss for $300,000 for continued exploration, bulk sampling of the star-sapphire, iolite and garnet occurrences and sourcing gemstone recovery methods to determine the most effective method of gem extraction from the mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. The 1852 acres of placer claims currently held by Anglo Swiss within the Slocan Valley have been evaluated for their mineralogical and gem potential. Recommendations from the Prudden Report include a drill program of 12 holes totaling 500 meters to sample geophysical anomalies and 23 bulk samples to evaluate fluvial flu·vi·al adj. 1. A geological survey using ground penetrating radar technology was performed to profile shallow sediment conditions, infer depth and distribution of fluvial deposits and sub-alluvial or intra alluvial sediment/bedrock formations. A large flake graphite discovery outcropping over 2,000 meters has also been discovered on the Blu Starr Property and has recently been optioned to Crystal Graphite Corporation. The agreement provides Crystal Graphite Corporation the right to perform their due diligence on this discovery by December 31, 2001. Please refer to the Anglo Swiss News Release dated May 15, 2001 for more details on the terms and conditions of this agreement. Gold Properties Anglo Swiss holds three gold properties, one in British Columbia and two in Ecuador. Management is currently sourcing joint venture partner(s) to continue exploration of these properties as the current price of gold appears to have stabilized offering an opportunity to advance these properties again. The Kenville Mine Property is also located in the Slocan Valley of British Columbia and has a long history as a gold producer. It is notable as British Columbia's first producing hard-rock gold mine. The Kenville Mine Property has extensive underground workings, numerous known vein systems plus the discovery of a large anomalous zone that measured 250 metres by 1000 metres on a previously unexplored area of the property. A drill program performed several years ago indicated three economic zones of interest, with one hole intercepting a vein that doubled the depth of the existing workings. The Kenville Mine Property is conveniently located within 40 kilometres of the Blu Starr Property and is temporarily being utilized as a processing plant for the extraction, sorting and grading of the gemstone rough. This property, with complete mining infrastructure in place, is expected by management to reduce the processing costs of the gemstones. The Company's two gold properties in southern Ecuador are the 100% owned Catamayo River Property (placer gold); and the Nuevo Playas Property (chalcedonic chal·ced·o·ny also cal·ced·o·ny n. pl. chal·ced·o·nies A translucent to transparent milky or grayish quartz with distinctive microscopic crystals arranged in slender fibers in parallel bands. quartz-carbonate-breccia vein systems) for which Anglo Swiss has a 75% working interest. Both are in early exploration stages. On behalf of the Board, Len Danard, President & CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization.
