AngioScore Signs Distribution Agreement with USCI Japan For the AngioSculpt Balloon Catheter.

 Japan Ltd. announced today that the companies have entered into a definitive distribution agreement for AngioScore's AngioSculpt Balloon Catheter balloon catheter

A catheter with an inflatable balloon at its tip, used especially to expand a partially obstructed blood vessel or bodily passage and to measure blood pressure in a blood vessel. Also called balloon-tip catheter.
. This agreement provides USCI Japan Ltd. with exclusive rights to distribute the AngioSculpt in Japan for all coronary applications. USCI Japan Ltd. will be responsible for all registration activities for the AngioSculpt in Japan. In a separate transaction, USCI Japan made a $1.5 million equity investment in AngioScore Inc.

USCI Japan Ltd. is one of the premier medical device distribution organizations in Japan and provides AngioScore with an outstanding launch platform for the AngioSculpt once all the appropriate regulatory approvals have been obtained.
