The coaxial shaft design (shaft lengths will be available in 50cm, 75cm and 100cm) provides excellent flexibility without compromising "pushability," inflation and deflation times. The WorkHorse(TM) PTA balloon is also well suited as a stent delivery system and the Company plans to aggressively market the product for this procedure. The Company estimates the U.S. market for PTA balloon catheters is in excess of $119 million annually.
