Angelica Included in Russell 2000 and 3000 Indexes.

Angelica Corporation (NYSE:AGL) announced today that its stock is now included in the Russell 3000 broad market index as well as the Russell 2000 small-cap index, both of which are compiled by the Frank Russell Company, a leading investment services firm. The Russell indexes are rebalanced and reconstituted annually effective July 1 to accurately rank companies in the U.S. stock market by market capitalization. Angelica's increase in market capitalization over the past year resulted in its inclusion in the new indexes.

More than $250 billion is invested in funds that rely on the Russell indexes as investment models, and an estimated $850 billion of assets are benchmarked to Russell indexes. Investment managers responsible for index funds typically purchase shares of the index companies according to their weighting in the particular index.
