, the only U.S. location chosen to host the 2005 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup The UCI Mountain Bike World Cup is a multi-round mountain bike racing series that is sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale. The first World Cup series – which was comprised of cross-country events – was held in 1991. , announced today a schedule of events for both spectators and riders for the weekend of July 9-10, 2005. The race is one of the most prestigious and extreme competitions on the world's mountain biking calendar and is expected to draw over 300 world-class riders and thousands of spectators to the resort town, 22 miles outside of Taos, New Mexico Taos (IPA: [taʊs]) is a town in Taos County in the north-central region of New Mexico. In New Mexico, a municipality may call itself a village, town, or city. .

--  1PM - 1:30 PM            Women's Awards Ceremony
--  2 PM - 4:15 PM           Men's World Cup Cross Country

 will also host a VIP/Press and Rider Cocktail Reception on Thursday, July 7th from 5 PM - 7 PM at the Roasted Clove in Angel Fire. This is an ideal time for press to meet one on one with the riders from the World Cup.

Angel Fire will also host several activities for spectators as part of the Angel Fire Village.
