Aneel Bhusri Joins Greylock as General Partner; Move Expands Greylock's West Coast Operations.

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 7, 1999--Greylock, one of the nation's leading venture capital firms, today announced that Aneel Bhusri has joined the firm as a general partner in its Palo Alto office.

Bhusri, 33, was recently named vice chairman of PeopleSoft, Inc. after several years as the company's senior vice president in charge of product strategy, business development and marketing.

At PeopleSoft, Bhusri was responsible for developing and guiding all product strategy, corporate and product marketing. In addition to joining Greylock as a general partner, Bhusri will continue as PeopleSoft vice-chairman.

Prior to PeopleSoft, Bhusri held positions in both venture capital and corporate finance. He holds a masters in business administration from Stanford University and a bachelor of science and arts in electrical engineering and economics from Brown University. In addition to PeopleSoft, Bhusri currently serves on the Boards of Marimba, WiData and STC. Bhusri was also recently named to Upside's 1998 Elite 100, the magazine's list of the 100 most influential people of the digital world.
