TENNIS: andy Murray moved effortlessly into the third round of the Paris Masters The BNP Paribas Masters is an annual tennis tournament for male professional players held in Paris, France. The event is part of the ATP Masters Series on the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) Tour.  with a straight-sets victory over sam Querrey Sam Querrey (born October 7, 1987 in San Francisco, California, United States) is a pro American tennis player from Thousand Oaks, California.

Many tennis experts have touted Querrey as America's next great talent, including Davis Cup Captain Patrick McEnroe.

The scot continued his stunning form of late by storming to a 6-2 6-4 win, making it 13 wins on the trot since losing the Us Open final to Roger Federer in early september.

Murray, who plays spain's Fernando Verdasco tosay, admitted Querrey had caused him some problems in the second set but the scot always appeared to be in control.

"You can get some easy service games because he's not the best at returning but at 4-3 he hit some good forehands and got himself back in the match," he said.

"I tried to enjoy myself but I had to concentrate."
