Andrew Vaughan Nelson (born May 27, 1933 in Athens, Alabama) was an American football safety in the NFL for the Baltimore Colts and New York Giants. He attended the University of Memphis.
 has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Sound Operations, Twentieth Century Fox, it was announced today (22) by J.R. DeLang, Executive Vice President, Studio Operations.

Nelson previously was Vice President, Re-Recording Services. While continuing his award-winning work as a re-recording mixer A re-recording mixer, formerly known as a dubbing mixer, is a person who is part of a post-production sound team and works specifically with dialog, music and sound effects to create the final soundtrack for a production. , Nelson will oversee the day-to-day operations of the sound department, including the Sound Mixing & Scoring Stages, ADR ADR - Astra Digital Radio  & Foley Stages, Sound and Editorial Facilities, as well as the Sound Transfer, Projection and Sound Engineering Departments.
