Andy Mattson Appointed Member of The AICPA's Tax Executive Committee.

CAMPBELL, Calif. -- Andy Mattson, tax partner at Mohler, Nixon and Williams, has been appointed a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Tax Executive Committee. The Tax Executive Committee (TEC) is a senior committee of the AICPA and is responsible for the consideration and approval of proposed solutions developed by other committees and technical resource panels of the AICPA. The TEC handles issues of policy, as well as technical and tax administration problems that affect the public.

Andy's appointment to the TEC follows his six years of service on the AICPA's International Taxation Panel. Andy Chaired the International Taxation panel for three years where he led the group in its efforts to steer US international tax rules.

Within the Silicon Valley's high technology industry, Andy's area of specialties, which include international taxation, stock option taxation and planning, individual tax and venture-backed companies, serve the firm's clients well. Andy continues to teach continuing education classes on both the West and the East coasts and writes articles for publication. His articles have been published for Commerce Clearing House, the California Society of CPA's and CAMICO.
