Andy Amalfitano Appointed Senior Vice President, Sales and Services, for The Bulldog Group Inc.

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2000

The Bulldog bulldog, breed of thick-set nonsporting dog developed in the British Isles many centuries ago. It stands from 13 to 15 in. (33–38.1 cm) high at the shoulder and weighs from 40 to 50 lb (18.1–22.7 kg).  Group Inc. today announced that Andy Amalfitano has been named senior vice president, Sales and Services.

Amalfitano will be based in Toronto and will report directly to Chris Strachan, president and chief executive officer of The Bulldog Group. Amalfitano will oversee the Sales and Services Group, focused on the day-to-day relationships between Bulldog and its customers.

"Customer service and customer satisfaction are paramount to Bulldog's success," stated Strachan. "Andy brings a proven customer-centric focus to Bulldog and will provide the highest level of care to our growing international roster of clients."

Prior to joining Bulldog, Amalfitano was the senior vice president and general manager for the Canadian operations of BAAN Co., which included Sales, Sales Support and Services. He has also held several positions with GEAC (Geac Computer Corporation Limited, Markham, Ontario, www.geac.com) A major Canadian software company acquired in early 2006 by Golden Gate Capital. Founded in 1971, and originally specializing in library automation, Geac is best known for its SmartStream financial, payroll and human  SMARTSTREAM, formerly Dun & Bradstreet Software. Amalfitano holds a bachelor of commerce The Bachelor of Commerce is a bachelor's degree in business management, accounting and economic fields. Roy Stewart, former vice president of Sales at Bulldog, has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of Interactive Services. He will be responsible for leading Bulldog in the emerging interactive services market.
