Byline: LEE RYDER

ANDY CARROLL Andrew Thomas "Andy" Carroll (born January 6, 1989 in Gateshead, England) is an English footballer. His position is forward and he currently plays for Preston North End.

Carroll attended Brighton Avenue Primary School and Joseph Swan School.
has warned his teammates not to be sucked in by the Glanford Park Glanford Park is a football (soccer) stadium in Scunthorpe, UK and the current home of Football League Championship team Scunthorpe United F.C..

crowd tonight in Newcastle United's battle with Scunthorpe United.

United visit Scunthorpe 13 years to the day since they defeated Manchester United 5-0 in one of their most famous victories of modern times.

But by stark contract, the surroundings of Glanford Park - where some fans are almost in touching distance of the players - will prove a big test.

Carroll fell victim to influence of the Iron faithful when he was sent off when on loan with Preston in a Championship game in 2007.

Now Carroll says he will remind his teammates of his own redcard horror ahead of tonight's encounter.

He said: "When I was on loan at Preston two years ago, we played them and lost 2-1 - and I was sent off.

"I won a header (1) In a disk or tape file, a set of data that resides permanently at the beginning. "He was grabbing hold of me and pulling me down, so when I stood up, it looked like I caught him with my boot, but I didn't.

"I got sent off, and the fans were on my case.

"I don't think it was a sending off.

"Hopefully their fans won't remember it!

"I've learnt from everything - from playing against different players to making mistakes."
