 HENDERSON last night revealed how former Scotland colleague Scott Murray

Scott Murray (born 15 January 1976) is a rugby union player who plays at lock for Edinburgh and Scotland.
 persuaded him to kick-start his career in France.

Henderson said: "Several French clubs were interested in me and I have always wanted to play rugby in the French style, learn the language and appreciate the cuisine.

"I also want to have the experience of playing in full stadiums - just like I did with Scotland. That has not been the case during my time with Glasgow.

"I know Montauban have a warm and enthusiastic support and I'm anxious to experience that.

"Scott told me he was at a good club and in my situation as a family man with two children it was perfect "I went over to look at the set-up and was given a very warm welcome by coaches Sebastien Calvet and Marc Raynaud.

"I have played at least 40 of my 53 internationals alongside Scott. I saw Montauban playing on TV against Munster in the Heineken Cup when they nearly won in Ireland.

"I liked the collective spirit the side showed and the type of rugby they play with an attacking attitude."
