Andy Robinson (born 3 April 1964 in Taunton, Somerset) is a former English rugby union footballer who played openside flanker for Bath and England.
hailed his side's courage as they bagged their first Heineken Cup victory on French soil.

It was a stark contrast to last week's humiliation at the hands of Leinster but a gutsy display from Robinson's troops sawthem stun their hosts 13-6.

Robinson said: "There were two main aspects to this display.

Firstly, to come to France and play in such an exciting manner in the first half was tremendous.

"Then we showed fantastic courage to defend the way we did when they came back at us in the second half."

Robinson reserved special praise for try-hero Mark Robertson

whose score helped seal a memorable night.

 McIntyre.

But Edinburgh hit back in style when Mike Blair Michael Robert Leighton Blair (born April 20, 1981 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish rugby union footballer. He plays professional rugby union as scrum-half for Edinburgh Rugby and represents Scotland. Blair has recently signed another two-year contract with the Edinburgh Gunners.  caught the home defence napping before releasing Robertson who held off four tacklers to score. Chris Paterson converted.

Robertson was Edinburgh's hero at the other end when he pulled off a brilliant tackle on Castres hooker Romain Terrain who looked certain to score.

Paterson nearly added a second try for Edinburgh only to knock on before crossing over.

There was nothing wrong with the Scotland ace's kicking however, as Paterson banged over two penalties in the second half.

Castres began to exert more pressure on Robinson'smen who were lucky when Kevin Senio fluffed his kick-and-run.

They received another let off late on when Castres centre Phil Christophers spilled the ball inches from Edinburgh's try-line.
