Andrx Names Lawrence Rosenthal to Lead its Sales & Marketing Team.

Mr. Rosenthal has been appointed Executive Vice President Sales & Marketing of Andrx Pharmaceuticals, Inc. His responsibilities will include the development of sales and marketing strategies to establish Andrx as the premier specialty pharmaceutical company in the world and to establish Andrx as the generic brand of choice. Mr. Rosenthal was previously employed for 12 years by Teva Pharmaceuticals, Inc., one of the leading generic pharmaceutical companies in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. Andrx is engaged in the formulation and commercialization of oral controlled-release pharmaceuticals utilizing its proprietary drug delivery technologies, either directly or through collaborative arrangements. In its ANDA program, the Company is developing generic versions of selected high sales volume controlled-release brand name pharmaceuticals.
