Andrx Names Daniel H. Movens President of Anda.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 11, 2004

Andrx Corporation (Nasdaq:ADRX) ("Andrx" or the "Company") announced today the promotion of Daniel H. Movens to the position of President of Anda, Inc., Andrx's national distribution operation. Previously, Mr. Movens was Executive Vice President of Operations of Anda.

Mr. Movens has served Andrx in a number of positions of increasing responsibility since 1995.
