Andrx Completes Reorganization With Cybear to Trade Under ADRXD and CYBAD for the Next 20 Trading Days.

Andrx Corporation (Nasdaq:ADRXD)(Nasdaq:CYBAD) today announced that its reorganization pursuant to which Andrx acquired the outstanding shares of common stock of Cybear, Inc. that it did not own and created two new classes of common stock - Cybear Group Common Stock to track the performance of Cybear and Andrx Group Common Stock to track the performance of Andrx, was effective at the opening of business today.

As a result of the reorganization, Andrx Group Common Stock and Cybear Group Common Stock will trade for 20 trading days under the symbols ADRXD and CYBAD, respectively. Thereafter, they will trade under the symbols ADRX and CYBA, respectively.

Andrx is engaged in the formulation and commercialization of oral controlled-release pharmaceuticals utilizing its proprietary drug delivery technologies. In its ANDA program, the Company is developing generic versions of selected high sales volume controlled-release brand name pharmaceuticals. In its NDA program, the Company is developing its own brand name formulations of certain existing drugs that it believes may be improved by the application of the Company's drug delivery technologies.
