Andritz to rebuild board machine.


ANDRITZ TO REBUILD BOARD MACHINE. Andritz, Graz, Austria said its International Technology Group has been commissioned by UMKA A.D. Fabrika Kartona to rebuild its Board Machine KM1 at the Umka mill in Belgrade, Serbia. Andritz will modernize the press section and rebuild the pope reel, as well as supply new process equipment for the stock prep lines, the approach, and the water system.

IN OTHER ANDRITZ NEWS:

* The company was selected by Suzano Bahia Sul Papel e Celulose S.A. (Suzano), Brazil to supply the wood yard and the timberline timberline, elevation above which trees cannot grow. Its location is influenced by the various factors that determine temperature, including latitude, prevailing wind directions, and exposure to sunlight.  (washing, screening, bleaching bleaching, process of whitening by chemicals or by exposure to sun and air, commonly applied to textiles, paper pulp, wheat flour, petroleum products, oils and fats, straw, hair, feathers, and wood. ) for a new pulp line at Suzano's Mucuri mill, Bahia, Brazil. * The International Technology Group of Andritz will acquire a 60% stake in the paper business area of Eduard Kusters Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG, Krefeld, Germany. Kusters was taken over from family ownership by Jagenberg AG, Germany in mid-2005.

* Andritz received an order for construction of a greenfield mill to produce market pulp from kenaf Noun 1. kenaf - fiber from an East Indian plant Hibiscus cannabinus
