Andritz CrescentFormer slated for installation in Germany.
Andritz AG, Graz Graz (gräts), city (1991 pop. 237,810), capital of Styria prov., SE Austria, on the Mur River. The second largest city in Austria, it is an industrial, rail, and cultural center. Manufactures include iron and steel, precision and optical instruments, machinery, paper, textiles, and chemicals. Probably founded in the 12th cent., Austria, received an order to supply a CrescentFormer tissue machine to WEPA WEPA - World Elephant Polo Association, a German sanitary paper manufacturer. The machine incorporates the Andritz PrimeLine[TM] concept introduced in 2002. It will have a working width of 5.4 meters and a design speed of 2000 meters per minute. The new PrimeLine[TM] machine will be installed at KRIEPA Hygienepapier in Kriebethal/Saxony Saxony (săk`sənē), Ger. Sachsen, Fr. Saxe, state (1994 pop. 4,901,000), 7,078 sq mi (18,337 sq km), E central Germany. Dresden is the capital. In its current form, Saxony is a federal state of Germany, with its pre–World War II borders reinstated as of Oct., 1990., Germany, a 100% WEPA affiliate with a planned startup in autumn 2003.
