CRYSTAL PALACE striker Calvin Andrew Calvin Andrew (born 19 December 1986 in Luton) is an English footballer, who plays as a striker for club Luton Town.

Calvin has been at Luton throughout his career since being signed from the academy in 2004. Calvin has enjoyed loan spells at Grimsby Town and Bristol City.

"It really has been a remarkable comeback because he is way ahead of schedule.

"The surgeon has done a magnificent job on it but Calvin has worked so hard during his rehabilitation. I am absolutely delighted for Calvin. The injury was potentially career threatening but I have never seen a player work as hard as him.

KETTERING chairman Imraan Ladak has confirmed that manager Mark Cooper has held talks with Peterborough over the managerial vacancy at London Road.

Cooper has emerged as the surprise favourite to replace Darren Ferguson but Ladak also confirmed he will take charge of the Poppies' trip to Cambridge today.

Ladak said: "We gave Peterborough permission to speak to him and I understand the meetings went well.

"It seems, unsurprisingly, that they were very impressed with him but no final decision has been made at this time."
