Andrew and CPS Partner To Develop High Accuracy Mobile Positioning Products for the Global Market Place.

Andrew Corporation, a leading global supplier of communications systems equipment and wireless caller location systems, and Cambridge Positioning Systems (CPS), a leading caller location technology developer, have established a strategic partnership to develop high accuracy location solutions for the global GSM and 3G markets.

Under the terms of the agreement, Andrew will licence certain CPS caller location technologies, including CPS's Matrix technology, to create a new generation of caller location products. Andrew anticipates that the new products will offer significant performance and cost advantages for applications such as commercial location-based services and public safety. Andrew Corporation plans to introduce these new products during 2004 and market them through Andrew's global sales organisation.
