Andrew Wins Samsung Electronics' 'Best Partner Award'.

WESTCHESTER, Ill. -- Andrew Corporation, a global leader in communications systems and products, has won Samsung Electronics Corporation's "Best Partner Award" for its outstanding telecommunications network infrastructure support during the past year.

Andrew was nominated for the award by Samsung Telecommunications Network Business Segment, primarily for its strong track record in delivering reliable, well-designed products incorporating state-of-the-art technology. Andrew has been supplying Samsung with digital power amplifiers that are used in Samsung's CDMA base stations for wireless networks. The award was presented at Samsung Electronics' Partners Day 2007 ceremony, hosted recently in Seoul by Samsung Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jong-Yong Yun.

Ben Cardwell, vice president, Worldwide Sales and Marketing, Asia Pacific, Andrew Corporation, accepted the award on behalf of Andrew. A total of 20 awards were presented during the event, recognizing the "top of the top" overseas suppliers in Samsung's global supply base. Another 10 partner awards were presented to Samsung's domestic suppliers in Korea.

The Samsung award is one of several similar honors Andrew has received from its customers in the past three years. Andrew also has won best supplier awards from Lucent, Siemens, Nortel, and ZTE.
