Andrew T. Heller Named C.O.O. of Turner Network Sales.

ATLANTA--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Feb. 17, 1999--Andrew T. Heller will add chief operating officer (COO) responsibilities to his current role as executive vice president, Turner Network Sales (TNS), the cable sales arm of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.), it was announced today by William H. Grumbles, president of worldwide distribution for TBS, Inc.

Heller will assume day-to-day responsibility of TNS's sales and marketing efforts, in addition to managing the division's business affairs, operations and technology groups. He will continue to report to Grumbles, who oversees TNS, Turner Home Satellite (THS) and CNN Newsource Sales.

"Andy has made a sensational contribution to our business and has brought a new dimension to our team," commented Grumbles. "He is the right person to manage TNS and continue working with me on strategies which will drive our businesses and those of our distribution partners to new heights."

An industry veteran, Heller joined the TNS team in February 1998 from Time Warner Cable, where as assistant general counsel he was actively involved in programming, acquisitions, trades and a variety of cable, contractual, litigation and regulatory issues for the leading MSO. Earlier, Heller served as associate counsel and senior counsel, litigation for HBO.

Heller holds a law degree from Fordham University and a bachelor's degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University.
