Andrew T. Davis is named director, Advanced Programs and Horizontal Technology Integration.

SANTA CLARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 16, 1995--Andrew T. Davis, 46, has been named director, Advanced Programs and Horizontal Technology Integration (HTI) for the Ground Systems Division of United Defense L.P.

In this newly created position, Davis will lead United Defense's strategies for integrating digital technology and other appropriate technologies across multiple platforms for the U.S. Army's Force XXI, including United Defense's support to TRW for the army's newly awarded Digital Applique program.

He will also continue and expand his role in developing new systems for the army such as the Bradley Fire Support Vehicle (FIST), Enhanced Stinger Fighting Vehicle and the Battle Command Vehicle.

Davis joined FMC Corp. in 1976. His most recent assignment was manager, Business Development and Advanced Programs for the Bradley Fighting Vehicle System. He earned a B.A. in International Business and an M.B.A. from San Francisco State University. He is also the president of the Silicon Valley Chapter of the Association of the United States Army.
