Andrew Sukawaty Named Co-Chair of Nupremis Board; Former MediaOne Treasurer Rahn Porter Appointed CFO and Executive Vice President.

The Board of Directors of Nupremis, Inc., a full service outsource provider, has named Callahan Associates International President and Chief Operating Officer Andrew Sukawaty as Co-Chairman. Nupremis also announced today the appointment of Rahn Porter as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.

Mr. Sukawaty will serve as Co-Chair of Nupremis' Board with current Chairman Richard J. Callahan, Chief Executive Officer and founder of Callahan Associates International - a key investor in Nupremis. Before joining Callahan Associates, Mr. Sukawaty served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Sprint PCS (NYSE: PCS) since 1996. Under his leadership, Sprint PCS led the US wireless industry into a phase of explosive growth and into the wireless and Internet convergence. In the process, Mr. Sukawaty transformed the business from a privately held partnership valued at $US 2 billion to a publicly traded entity valued at over $US 50 billion that was the best performing large cap in the S&P 500 in 1999.

Mr. Porter will be responsible for advancing the overall financial strategy of Nupremis and for overseeing the company's global financial operations. Prior to Nupremis, Mr. Porter served as Vice President and Treasurer of MediaOne Group, which was acquired by AT&T (NYSE: T) in 1999 and formed one of the world's largest broadband communications companies with customers in the United States, Europe and Asia. During his tenure at MediaOne Group and previously at U S WEST, Mr. Porter structured major financings, including the monetization of $US 7 billion of Air Touch common and preferred stock and the execution of a $US 4 billion bond issuance for the U S WEST's Continental Cablevision acquisition. At U S WEST, Mr. Porter served as Executive Director of Corporate Finance, where he managed treasury functions for U S WEST, Inc., U S WEST Communications and U S WEST Media Group (now MediaOne Group). He also supported U S WEST's domestic and international business development group on international financial and structuring matters.
