Andrew Receives Intelsat Type Approval for the 4.9-Meter C-Band Earth Station Antenna.

Andrew Corporation (NASDAQ:ANDW) announced that it has received Intelsat(R) F-1 Type Approval for the circularly polarized 2-port version of its 4.9-meter C-Band earth station antenna. The 4.9-meter C-Band earth station antenna is designed to enable systems integrators and designers to bring their antenna systems on line faster and more economically. Intelsat type approval ensures that Andrew 4.9-meter C-Band earth station antennas meet Intelsat's stringent operating performance requirements.
