Andrew Macey Joins OATSystems as Vice President of Sales, Services, and Client Solutions; Respected Industry Veteran to Lead Global Team.

WALTHAM, Mass. -- OATSystems(R), Inc., the recognized leader in RFID solutions, today announced the appointment of Andrew Macey to Vice President of Sales, Services, and Client Solutions.

Mr. Macey joins OATSystems from Sapient Corporation where he served as Vice President in the Retail & Consumer Products practice, as the global practice lead for Supply Chain, and as co-lead of the Business Consulting practice. Mr. Macey also previously served on the leadership team for the North American FinACE (Financial Services, Automotive, Industrial, Consumer& Retail, and Energy) business unit.

Mr. Macey will lead OATSystems' sales and delivery teams in their work with more than 75 customers who depend on OAT across North and South America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific including such pioneers as Hewlett-Packard, Tesco and Gillette.

Mr. Macey brings almost 20 years of supply chain experience to this role from both an operating and consulting perspective. Over the course of his career, Mr. Macey has provided products, services, and solutions to more than 100 of the world's top companies, including CPG and industrial manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and transportation companies. Prior to Sapient, Mr. Macey served as Vice President and Managing Director, Europe, for software company Formation Systems, where he and his team sold and delivered global PLM solutions.

Mr. Macey also served as Senior Vice President for Business Development & Operations for a $100MM private-label manufacturer of healthcare products, where he and his team helped triple the business through acquisition and organic growth. Mr. Macey began his career as a consultant with Bain & Company.

Andrew holds an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration and an AB in Economics from Harvard College.
