Andrew Lloyd Webber has launched the long awaited sequel to the Phantom of the Opera, Love Never Dies.

He unveiled details of the new show at Her Majesty's Theatre in London where Phantom premiered 23 years ago.

In Love Never Dies the story continues, the Phantom has moved from his lair in the Paris Opera House to haunt the fairgrounds of New York's Coney Island.

The tale is set ten years after the mysterious disappearance of the Phantom from Paris.

Lord Lloyd-Webber said: "I've always liked breaking new ground and doing new things and taking on the sequel to the Phantom of the Opera is without any question of doubt the toughest thing I've ever done."
