Andrew J. Hacanis, Sr.AUBURN Andrew J. Hacanis, Sr., 77, of Auburn, died Monday, June 22nd in the Rose Monahan Hospice Home. He leaves his wife of 32 years, Jeannine H. Kasparian-Hacanis; his three daughters, Cindy Rotman of Bangor, NY, Lynn Gilbreath and Ruth Natale, both of Spencer; two sons, Andrew J. Hacanis, Jr. of East Hampton East Hampton or its variants is the name of several places in the United States:
Mr. Hacanis was born in Worcester and was a graduate of the former High School of Commerce and Clark University Clark University, at Worcester, Mass.; coeducational; chartered 1887, opened as a graduate school 1889. It was the second graduate school to be formed in the United States. Its undergraduate college (est. 1902) was integrated with the university in 1920. . He was a U.S. Navy veteran. After his retirement, he taught computer skills to seniors at the Worcester Senior Center and donated time at the Seven Hills Foundation on Hope Avenue in Auburn. The funeral is Friday, June 26th from O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 189 Oxford Street.
