Andrew J. Cohen, chief executive officer of Cohen and Company, Inc. Real Estate, a New York-based investment sales brokerage firm, is pleased to announce the closing of another shopping center in Florida.

Cohen and Company, Inc. acted as the sole broker in the transaction. Company president Helen Putterman and senior executive director Richard Kaiser represented the seller, LSOF Cynwyd, L.P, Bala Cynwyd. Phyllis Bosworth, managing director at Cohen and Company, represented the purchaser, MBJ Chelsea, LLC.

Boynton Beach Shopping Center is located at 400 North Federal Highway in Boynton Beach, Fla., and was 73% occupied at the closing. The community shopping center is anchored by the Family Dollar at 9,596 sf and Discount Auto Parts at 8,613 sf. The center will undergo a face lilt, and leasing efforts are underway to bring the property to a 100% occupancy.
