Andrew Corporation (NASDAQ:ANDW) has elected three new corporate officers following the acquisition of Allen Telecom, Inc. Terry N. Garner (former president of Grayson Wireless, a division of Allen Telecom) becomes president of the new Andrew Network Solutions Group; Gianpiero Villa (former president and CEO of Forem SRL, a subsidiary of Allen Telecom, Inc.) becomes president of the newly created Andrew Wireless Innovations Group; and James L. LePorte III (former vice president of finance, Allen Telecom, Inc.) becomes vice president of Merger Integration.

Andrew completed its acquisition of Allen Telecom, Inc., a leading supplier of wireless equipment to the global telecommunications infrastructure market, on July 15, 2003. The election of the three former Allen executives as corporate officers of Andrew Corporation is a key step in the rigorously planned integration of Allen and Andrew.

The Andrew Network Solutions Group, headed by Terry Garner (age 54), will enhance value to wireless operators by optimizing system performance and delivering essential and ancillary communication services. Products include sophisticated caller location networks, data collection and analysis systems, wireless network optimization tools, and spectrum management software and services. The group is comprised of Comsearch (providing total solution global offerings for wireless engineering design, acquisition, installation, and maintenance services) and the former Allen company Grayson Wireless (provider of the market-leading Geometrix(R) Wireless Location System and Invex3G(TM) test and measurement equipment).

The Andrew Wireless Innovations Group, led by Gianpiero Villa (51), provides products and solutions for wireless networks, in-building systems, and distributed communications applications. These solutions enable better coverage, and capacity and data-speed optimization, allowing operators to achieve the very best in system performance for their network.

James LePorte (49) leads the merger integration effort to ensure that the combination of Allen and Andrew brings significant value for Andrew customers, shareholders, and employees.
