, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 5, 1998--Andrew Corporation announces a new Fax-On-Line service whereby visitors to the Andrew Web site (http://www.andrew.com) can fax product and technical information to themselves, or anywhere in the world, by using a personal or laptop computer A portable computer that has a flat LCD screen and usually weighs less than eight pounds. Often called just a "laptop," it uses batteries for mobile use and AC power for charging the batteries and desktop use.
