Andrew Corporation Highlights Communications Network Products at PT/Wireless in Beijing; Andrew expert speaks on challenges and opportunities in supporting major events such as 2008 Olympics.

Andrew will welcome customers and other industry participants to its booth (#7D21, Hall 7) at the China International Exhibition Center, where it will showcase its market-leading products and solutions that support the radio frequency (RF) path, satellite communications, network coverage and capacity requirements, and radio network optimization and management.

To highlight the company's expertise in wireless network coverage, Patrick Leung, vice president at Andrew Telecommunications (China) Co. Ltd., will look ahead to the 2008 Olympic Games Olympic games, premier athletic meeting of ancient Greece, and, in modern times, series of international sports contests. Andrew will exhibit its extensive offerings and their benefits to operators for 3G communications systems, such as rapid rollouts, reduced delivery cycles, guaranteed quality of service, improved coverage and capacity, and reduced capital expenditures and operating expenditures. Among the featured offerings are:

--Coverage and capacity solutions products, including digital nodes, high power optical distributed antenna systems, digital repeaters for pico and micro applications, and cable boosters.

--Power amplifiers and custom manufactured filters, diplexers, and combiners for use in 2G, 2.5G, and 3G systems.

--Andrew's wireless network design, optimization, management, and location solutions, such as the Geometrix(R) mobile location system's new capabilities that support all enterprise and consumer location-based services See mobile positioning. ; new release version 4.3 of Invex3G(TM) wireless network drive test system; and new version 5.2 of the Odyssey(TM) radio coverage prediction planner.
