 Series High Gain Hub antennas for the Newbridge(R) LMDS (Local Multipoint Distribution Service) A digital wireless transmission system that works in the 28 GHz range in the U.S. and 24-40 GHz overseas. It requires line of sight between transmitter and receiving antenna, which can be from one to four miles apart  broadband wireless solution. LMDS is a high frequency broadband wireless system that can be quickly deployed to cost-effectively deliver high-speed data and Internet access, voice, video, and multimedia services using point-to-multipoint distribution systems. The Newbridge solution for LMDS enables service providers to enter the telecommunications market quickly with a broad portfolio of premium quality services for business customers.

This antenna contract is the first order placed under a Master Purchase Agreement between Andrew Corporation and Newbridge Networks. In addition to the BCA Series antennas, the Master Purchase Agreement also covers HELIAX(R) coaxial cable, RingFlare(TM) connectors, SureGround(TM) RF grounding kits and Andrew Arrestor Plus(R) surge arrestors, which protect installed radio equipment from lightning damage.
