Andrew Announces Series of ISO 14001 Certifications for China, Japan, and USA Facilities.

Andrew Corporation (NASDAQ:ANDW) announced that it has been awarded ISO 14001 certifications for its manufacturing, sales, and distribution facilities in Suzhou, China; Orland Park, Illinois, USA; and Tokyo, Japan. The new ISO 14001 certifications are the latest results in a worldwide initiative to implement independently audited Environmental Management Systems at Andrew facilities. This initiative began when the Andrew manufacturing plant in Lochgelly, Scotland, received its ISO 14001 certification in May 2000.

The new ISO 14001 certifications apply to Andrew Corporation's Suzhou, China manufacturing and administration facility; the Andrew corporate headquarters, manufacturing, and administration facilities in Orland Park and Tinley Park, Illinois, USA; and the Andrew distribution and administration center in Tokyo, Japan. These facilities were independently assessed, audited, and certified by the British Standards Institution (BSI), a world leader in standards and quality management services.
