Andrew Announces Cell-Max Omni Antennas.

Business Editors

ORLAND PARK, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 12, 2002

-- New Low Profile Cell-Max

antennas give broadband reliability for

wireless data applications --

Andrew Corporation (NASADQ:ANDW) introduced new Cell-Max(TM) Omni antennas for emerging 802.11 wireless data applications. The Cell-Max Omni antenna can be used for outdoor or in-building wireless data coverage and is available in five frequency bands from 2.4 GHz to 5.8 GHz. The new antennas offer consistent pattern and VSWR VSWR Voltage Standing Wave Ratio

All Cell-Max Omni antennas feature low profile, UV-stable radomes that provide stability and reliability in outdoor applications in harsh climates. For indoor applications, radomes can be color-matched to ensure that the antennas are visually unobtrusive.

Available with multiple connector configurations or an integrated cable jumper, Cell-Max Omni antennas can be pole or wall mounted or inverted inverted
