Andrea Ganis Named Atlantic Executive Vice President.NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 12, 1998--Andrea Ganis has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Atlantic Records New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of headquarters. The announcement was made by Atlantic Group Co-Chairman/Co-CEO Val Azzoli, to whom she reports. Ms. Ganis, who joined Atlantic Records in 1980, had been the label's Executive Vice President of Promotion since January of 1996. This new post recognizes her greater role in the overall senior management of the company. She was subsequently named Associate Director of National Singles Promotion, Director of National Singles Promotion, and Senior Director of National Singles Promotion. In 1988, Ms. Ganis was appointed Vice President of National Promotion, followed by her promotion to Senior Vice President two years later. In January of 1996, she was named Executive Vice President, Promotion.
