age 58. A child of the Sixties, she had gone to the end of one kind of
line: Bennington literature major, marriage to an abusive Tending to deceive; practicing abuse; prone to ill-treat by coarse, insulting words or harmful acts. Using ill treatment; injurious, improper, hurtful, offensive, reproachful. Dutch radical.
If that was liberation, she was having none of it. But there is freedom,
and freedom: on one hand, the pointless scratching of itches; on the
other, love and truth, which truly set us free. She railed at vice; may
she now rest in peace.
