Doumitt previously served in a variety of executive management positions at BAE Systems, the $25 billion defense and electronics company that, among other capabilities, provides integrated digital and terrain profile map products and integrated GPS/inertial navigation for military aircraft. At BAE Systems, Doumitt was credited with a number of strategic and growth initiatives that expanded the company's business and span of influence, including rebranding BAE's navigation product line and channeling R&D funding into new MEMS (MicroElectroMechanical Systems) Tiny mechanical devices that are built onto semiconductor chips and are measured in micrometers. In the research labs since the 1980s, MEMS devices began to materialize as commercial products in the mid-1990s.  technology for its navigation systems. Mr. Doumitt also identified new integrated product opportunities from among BAE's various business units to expand its work with US Navy, US Army and key international customers in Europe, Asia and Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies. .

Prior to his work for BAE systems, Doumitt held management positions with the Italian/US Joint Venture Bell Agusta Aerospace, where he managed the introduction a new class of civil tilt rotor aircraft into the commercial marketplace, and The Boeing Company, where he developed industrial relationships with international suppliers for the company's helicopter programs.
