Andover Medical, Inc. Announces formation of the Female Health Advisory Board.


ANDOVER, Mass. -- Andover Medical, Inc. (AMI), (OTCBB:ADOV.OB) announced today that Peter Rosenblatt, MD will be the chairman of its newly formed Female Health Advisory Board, the purpose of which, is to assist the Company in identifying market opportunities and how best to address them. On November 6, 2006, AMI announced it entered into a letter of intent to acquire SRS Medical Systems, Inc., a technology leader in the area of non-invasive devices for incontinence, a condition that affects 30 million people worldwide, most of whom are women. As part of AMI's strategy, Dr. Rosenblatt will team with the management of SRS on creating and implementing its strategies.

Affiliated with many Boston-area hospitals and teaching programs, Dr. Rosenblatt has been Mount Auburn Hospital's Director of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery since 1995, and has directed that fellowship program since 1999. He is also the Director of Urogynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. Speaking regionally and nationally on topics related to urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery, Dr. Rosenblatt is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and an active member of several other organizations. He is co-founder of the New England Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (NEAGL), which offers training to attendings and residents of Ob/Gyn programs and hosts meetings of laparoscopic surgeons to share interesting cases and innovative techniques.

Dr. Rosenblatt received his BA from Brown University and his MD from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Massachusetts Medical School and returned to Brown to complete his fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery.
