A technology industry veteran and founder of market research firm Dataquest, Norman joins Andes Networks' existing board of directors, which is comprised of executives drawing on their experience from blue chip companies such as Sun Microsystems, RSA Security and Vantage Point Venture Partners.

David Norman brings over 30 years of experience in managing, advising and investing in successful technology startups. Norman founded and was president and chief executive officer of Businessland, Inc., an international company-owned computer reseller which grew to over $1 billion in sales. Norman also founded Dataquest Inc., a leading market information services firm specializing in the computer and electronics industries, and Creative Strategies, Inc., a privately-held research consulting firm. Before founding Creative Strategies, Inc., he was with the Stanford Research Institute and Lockheed Missiles and Space Company.

Norman currently is an investor and serves on the board of several public and private high technology companies, including Net Ratings, 1st Virtual Communications, Inc. Bowstreet, noHold, 365Media and Telverse. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Master of Science degree in industrial engineering from Stanford University.

Glen Anderson, founder of Andes Networks and formerly of Sun Microsystems, serves as chairman of the board. Jason Strober, partner at Vantage Point Venture Partners and Sam Lee, co-founder and managing director of Infinity Capital also serve as members of the board.
