 Learning Corp., has been acquired by a Chicago-based investor group headed by Elizabeth Tomaszewicz, a twenty year training industry veteran.

"We are pleased to join the excellent team of training professionals at Anderson," Tomaszewicz stated. "This investment allows Anderson to put together an aggressive product development plan which includes new offerings focused on Internet/intranet delivery within the end user market. Anderson's award-winning SmartTrainer(R) courseware will be the platform on which we build an expansive offering to address our clients' training needs."

"Additionally, our plans include an immediate expansion of our sales and support staff with a focus on the development of national accounts," Tomaszewicz continued. "Our goal will be to provide a diversity of training solutions to companies and government agencies while continuing to provide the top rated customer service for which Anderson is known."

Anderson Soft-Teach will remain in Los Gatos, with executive headquarters in Chicago.
