) Tuesday announced special pricing on its Tidalwave Value, Surf and Tsunami lines of personal computers.

The Value line offers Intel Corp.'s Celeron processors, starting at $959. These systems now include more features such as 4.3GB hard drive, 32MB of SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) A type of dynamic RAM (DRAM) memory chip that has been widely used since the late 1990s. SDRAM chips eliminated wait states by dividing the chip into two cell blocks and interleaving data between them. , 32X CD-ROM drive, 56K modem and a 15-inch color monitor.

Anderson Computers/Tidalwave's most popular line, the Surf, offers Intel Pentium II Processors along with a long list of standard features such as a 6.4GB hard drive, 64MB SDRAM, 8MB video, 56K modem, 32X CD-ROM drive, Microsoft Windows 98 and a 15-inch color monitor, with Surf pricing starting at less than $1,350.

For those looking for extreme power, the Tsunami line offers Intel Pentium II processors up to 450MHz (MegaHertZ) One million cycles per second. It is used to measure the transmission speed of electronic devices, including channels, buses and the computer's internal clock. A one-megahertz clock (1 MHz) means some number of bits (16, 32, 64, etc. , PC100 SDRAM (RAM operates at 100MHz), 8.4GB hard drive, 8MB video, 56K modem, 32X CD-ROM drive, three-piece Surround Sound System, Microsoft Windows 98 and a 17-inch monitor plus more, with Tsunami pricing starting at just $1,879.
