), which recently completed two Internet related joint ventures in one month, Friday announced that the company has retained Advantage Link Inc. to identify and help acquire additional privately held Internet related companies.

Anderson recently completed joint venture agreements with Cyberlinkcom Corp. and Micro Doctor Inc. Both companies will greatly expand Anderson's Internet presence. While once solely involved in the computer industry, Anderson is positioning itself to take advantage of the fast growing Internet and e-commerce markets which are projected to generate $425 billion in sales in the United States and generate $3.2 trillion in global transactions by the year 2002.

As an indicator of the popularity and excitement of the Internet, a Nasdaq-Amex e-commerce index has been created of 15 companies that derive either all or a significant part of their revenue from online commerce which includes bookseller Amazon (Nasdaq:AMZN AMZN Amazon.com (NASDAQ symbol) ), brokerage firm Ameritrade Holding Corp.
